Rest up!
We have been working very hard all year long. You need to rest your overworked brain cells. When you return we will have only 11 weeks of fourth grade remaining. We need your full attention, energy and creativity to continue making this the best year of learning on record.
A few highlights to look forward to:
Colonial American Project 4.12.13:
We will working on creating these presentations in class during the two weeks when you return from spring break. Over the break you can start to secure your costume, gather resources or make an outline for what you want to accomplish.
T.O.D.
The script will be finalized. We audition for casting. Create our masks, costumes and sets. The best school play ever is under way!
Mathways:
Pace your face math method results for the first week are in. It has been a massive success. Look to future posts for video tutorials and presentations that will help parents and future students understand the nature of the project.
Things you can do over the break:
Annoy a sibling.
Clean your room.
Read a good book.
Email your friends or your teacher.
Relax.
Watch the math videos and complete the activities.
Gather items for your C.A.P.
Google docs with friends.
Mathletics for math skill development.
Save money for future teacher bribes.
I have been very proud of the work this class has done over the year and especially the last few weeks. You deserve a break. Rest up. Let me know how you are doing with an email.
I'll see you all soon.
