To the Amazing Families of the Fourth Grade...

To the generous families of Room 308, I would like to send a warm holiday greeting to the students and the families who make teaching fun this year.  Thank you all for allowing me to share in the special moments that make the season bright.  I look forward to a new year filled with exciting challenges and adventures in learning.  Have a wonderful break.  Thank you again for including me in your holiday spirit.
Sincerely,
Mr. Crame

Circumstantial Evidence...

Kindle Classroom

Today and yesterday we got to use the kindles to read books associated with social studies. The 2 books we could read are Indian Captive or Pilgrim's Landing. I'm reading Indian Captive. The chapters in Indian Captive are SUPER long. I've only finished a little bit more than a chapter. The kindles are really fun to use. There are page switching buttons on each side. Also, these kindles are tricky. I accidentally clicked on the sample of Indian Captive, but I couldn't get to how far I was. Then, Mr. Crame told me it was the sample. Oops! Okay, I gotta go and do my work. Bye!

The Most Dastardly Students in the Room

Not Pictured: Taya, whose deed was so dastardly, she had to be taken away immediately in handcuffs!

The First Annual Coal Confession Convention

There are a bunch of naughty children in room 308.  Luckily the confessions self-destruct upon parental eye contact.

Coal Confessions

It's that time of year again.  We'll be making the list and checking it twice, gonna find out who's naughty not nice.  We have reflected on a year full of mistakes and missteps and have decided to write about the most dastardly deed of the year.
We have invited some Evil Elves from the South Pole to help determine whose deed is worthy of the coveted Coal Confessions Award.  Take the time to publish your writing and be prepared to present your best, I mean your worst this Thursday.

Barnes and Noble Book Fair Tomorrow

Please support the school by attending the Barnes and Noble Book Fair.  Just mention ERGC Bookfair at checkout to ensure that the school gets the appropriate benefit of the proceeds.  Give the gift of reading this holiday season and benefit the school  at the same time.

I'll be a guest reader at 5:15 PM. From the schedule it looks like I will be opening for the Zumbatomic group.  I'll be sure to launder my leotard. I will also be introducing a new novel to the fourth graders.  A novel that just might become... The Next Big Thing in Fourth Grade.
I hope to see you all there.

Elizabeth Teaches Us How To Upload!

Hello 308! Elizabeth here! Most of us are having trouble uploading videos and picture from our flash drive! Here is how!
To upload:
1. Plug in your flash drive. It is most likely on your left side on a laptop, and on a computer, it is located on the front. REMEMBER: If you are not using a laptop, the slot to insert it is not on your screen. Look at the box by your screen. There should be a beep if you are using a windows computer like this - bum bum

2. Now that your flash drive is in, you should access Finder or your folders. There will be a place on the side with the name of your flash drive. Some of the names are:
Unknown
Unknown Disk
Lexar
Your name
Company Name

3. Once you have acsessed your flash drive (by double clicking), select the file you want to upload. Voila!

On Museum box:
Select what you want to upload. (i.e. Photo, File, Audio, Video) Follow instructions 1-2. Select "Browse" then do step three. Same with Glogster. You did it! No more troubles!
