REACH Literacy Assessment

Today we took our final standardized assessment of the year...the REACH assessment.  The students were provided a short reading passage followed by a writing prompt and graphic organizer.  It is designed to measure the student's individual growth as it relates to writing and literacy.

MAP Testing This Week and a PRACTICE SITE

MAP Reading Practice

This week we will be taking the last MAP Assessments for Reading and Math.  The above link is a great site to practice the format of the MAP and to brush up on a few skills.  Tonight's homework will be to work on the site for at least thirty minutes.  Find your last MAP score for reading and click on it for the different skills.  You can then try at least one activity for each section.
Good Luck,
Mr. Crame
